At all-inclusives, per-person pricing makes the room question sharper: if the room only allows 4, the booking splits — and so does the bill. These Cancun & Riviera Maya resorts have at least one room type a family of 5 can book, ranked by how many room types genuinely fit (occupancy and beds together) for 2 adults + kids 5, 8, 11.
Moon Palace and Nickelodeon lead on transparency: Moon Palace spells out its 5th-guest rollaway policy, and Nickelodeon publishes exact allowed combinations. Dreams and Grand Velas are fine resorts whose official pages don't publish per-room occupancy at all — we show them as “confirm with the resort,” not with borrowed numbers.
